The app
sicko fantasy, at sicko-fantasy.com, lets you build custom fantasy football scoring systems and run leagues under them. reading is free and needs no account; building your own needs one.
Accounts
an account is free, and it owns what it creates: your scoring systems, your leagues, your api keys. keep your sign-in to yourself -- anything done through your account is treated as something you did.
Sicko pro subscriptions
sicko pro is sold through the ios app store as an auto-renewing subscription: $20 a month, or $60 a year. it bills at that price on that schedule and renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before it renews. manage or cancel a subscription from your apple id's subscription settings, not from this site -- apple runs the till, and apple runs cancellations. refunds are apple's call too; request one through apple, not us. cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.
Acceptable use
run your own leagues honestly. do not try to break the scoring engine, hammer the public api past its rate limits, impersonate someone else's league, or use the service for anything illegal. an api key acts as your account and can do exactly what your account can do, so keep it to yourself. we can suspend or close an account that abuses the service.
Your content
you own the leagues, scoring systems, rosters and trades you create, and you are responsible for what you put in them. keep it legal, and do not put anyone else's private information into a league you have made public.
No warranty, and limited liability
sicko fantasy is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. we do not promise it will be error-free, available every minute, or that a scoring system will produce the result you expect. to the extent the law allows it, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at whatever you paid us in the twelve months before it -- which, for most accounts, is nothing, because running your own leagues stays free.
Changes to these terms
we can update these terms as the app changes; the version on this page is the one in effect. a material change will say so here. using the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
